Put Some Glam Into Your Workout

Trying to motivate yourself to do some exercise can be hard – especially if you have to go straight from your workout to work or to meet friends. But now there is a one-off boot-camp that will help you to kick-start your fitness regime without having to compromise your grooming. This is not a simple case of running in heels with full make-up on but more about rewarding yourself at the end with  fashion, beauty, pampering and live entertainment.

On Saturday, 9th July 2011, at Battersea Park in London, Boutique Sport is combining fitness and finesse to this summer’s fun-filled and super-stylish women-only fitness event, Boutique Run. It is aiming to encourage women to enjoy sporting activities, and break down the barriers to participation by emphasizing the social and lifestyle aspects of taking part in sport, even rewarding all runners with a well-deserved glass of champagne!

After your five or ten kilometre run, you can hit the showers to freshen up, then spend the rest of your Saturday evening being spoilt at five star pampering stations and nail bars, bubbly in hand, listening to the latest tunes from the likes of Sunday Girl, The Ultra Girls, Frameous and Chelcee Grimes.

As if the run hadn’t earned you enough credits, you can make the evening even more guilt free by raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK  with around 1,000 women dying of the disease each month. Breakthrough is leading the fight against the disease by funding ground breaking research, campaigning for better services and treatments and raising awareness of breast cancer.

Further details are currently under wraps, but Boutique Run is shaping up to be the most talked about women’s fitness event of the summer.
