Anti-Ageing Magic With The Yoga Facelift

What if I told you there’s a way to rewind the signs of ageing without the pain and risk of invasive treatments? Sound too good to be true? Possibly. But while the Yoga Facelift may not be pain-free (unless your idea of fun is having someone else’s hand inside your mouth) it certainly does what it says on the tin.

Daiva Kamysova works from her west Kensington Skin Loft salon, and has used her years of experience to tailor-create the yoga facial, a six-week course of facial manipulation that stimulates the skin to tighten and firm and results in genuinely anti-ageing results.

The signature face sculpting Buccal Massage also known as ‘The Yoga Facelift’ is a rejuvenating and holistic facial treatment that involves targeted massage techniques applied to the muscles of the face, particularly focusing on the cheek and jaw area. After just one session we could see visible anti-ageing results. These lasted around a week, but a six-session course is recommended, followed by top-ups every few months, to make the most of the treatment and achieve long-lasting results. This specialised massage aims to release tension, smooth lines, lift the face, improve circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and enhance the overall appearance of the skin.

The yoga facelift is a deep tissue sculptural massage using an anti-gravity method designed to lift the face, strengthen your muscles and reduce unnecessary sagging of the skin. A surprising yet welcome by-product was the tension relief around the temples which banished a headache that had been persistent for weeks.

The Two Phases of The Yoga Facelift:

Phase 1: The Sculptural Phase: During the sculptural phase, the muscles of the face are being manipulated from above. This is relaxing and enjoyable, and at one point we may have let out an involuntary snore as we drifted off to sleep.

Phase 2: The Deep Tissue Phase: Not for the faint hearted! During the deep tissue phase, the muscles are massaged from inside the mouth to help firm, tone and sculpt the face. This technique helps to relax the muscles, stimulate blood flow, and encourage the release of toxins. It also aids in the production of collagen, which contributes to firmer and more youthful-looking skin. It’s not comfortable, but it’s not agony, and no area is concentrated on for more than a few minutes.

The face sculpting Buccal Massage works with the three sculptural lines of the face:

  • Sculptural Jaw Line – This lifts sagging cheeks, aligns the chin area, and achieves straight lines.
  • Sculptural Cheekbone Lines – This lifts facial contours, highlights and accentuates the cheekbones for more defined cheekbones.
  • Sculptural Eyebrow Lines -This helps to combat the signs of sagging eyelids.
