Miranda Reveals Her Supermodel Beauty Secrets

Miranda Kerr is not just another skinny model who has bounced back into shape just a mere six months after having baby Flynn, in fact the 28-year-old wife of actor Orlando Bloom has always been a strong advocate of healthy living.

She grew up on a farm in Gunnedah, outback NSW and while she was discovered after winning her first modelling competition at 14, the grounded Aussie put modelling on hold until she could complete school. She then went on to study nutrition and health psychology at the Academy of Natural Living before she made modelling her full time career.

Now she is on the health offensive to share the tips and tricks she learnt through her study and years of modelling with us mere mortals.

‘I am an advocate for living a healthy and organic life and I have been modelling for over a decade,’ she said.

‘For 12 years I have been drinking Noni and been applying it tropically to my skin. Whenever I had a breakout I would dab it on and see a difference immediately.’  Tahitian Noni Juice, or Noni as she calls it, is full of powerful antioxidants and vitamins. She also takes a daily dose of coconut oil that keeps her complexion flawless. ‘I personally take four tablespoons of coconut oil per day, either on my salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea. I will not go a day without coconut oil,’ she said.

She has  now launched her own organic skincare range Kora. ‘In (my time as a model) I have travelled extensively and tried skincare products from all over the world. I created Kora as I wasn’t able to find an organic skincare line  that I was 100% happy with or that contained all the ingredients  I wanted and knew were beneficial for the skin. Kora is about nurturing your core, your inner and outer self,’ she said.

She has also published her first book which is a collection of thoughts, memories and lessons that she hopes will put young women on the path to self-improvement. It  has important lessons on self-confidence, inner beauty and acceptance from Miranda and inspirational people such as Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay.

You can purchase Treasure Yourself by Miranda Kerr from Amazon for £19.99. The Kora skincare range is available through the Kora website.
