How To Guide: Fishtail Braid

SeanHanna FishbraidTime to break out the elastics, stretch out your fingers, and get ready to unleash your inner hair stylist and create this season’s ultimate look – the Fishtail Braid, courtesy of seanhanna:

Step 1: Prep the hair and divide into two equal sections on the side of the head

Step 2: Take a small strand from section 2

Step 3: Cross this strand over and add it to section 1

Step 4: Repeat this on the opposite side by taking a strand from section 1, crossing it over and adding it to section 2

Step 5: The effect should look like this, the strands are on the inside of the two sections

Step 6: Continue this to create the fishtail braid

Step 7: Once complete, pull the braid slightly to create a more textured fishtail braid. Secure with a small, clear band
