Soul Circus Offers Solace From The City This Summer

Soul Circus festival in the Cotswolds offers a retreat for yoga and health conscious people eager to escape the stresses of everyday life

If like me you’re seeking an escapist break this summer, and yearning to truly reconnect with yourself and nature while having fun in a fabulous setting, then Soul Circus could be the gig for you. As a dedicated and well documented yoga lover, this is the one event that’s a must-do on my August calendar.

Following a successful launch last year, the festival for fitness fiends returns to the Cotswolds this August. The yoga and wellness event is set to run from the 18th – 20 August and offers a sanctuary from the pressures of everyday life for yoga lovers and health enthusiasts everywhere.

Husband and wife team Roman and Ella Wroath held the inaugural event last year with the aim of offering “a refreshing take on the ever increasing and hugely popular yoga lifestyle”. They are passionate about yoga and wellness, and together with music, good food, drink and fun, they are bringing all their passions together under the nature’s roof.

Ella told Belle About Town: “Having been to a number of yoga festivals over the years, nothing was quite hitting the spot and providing everything we felt self-respecting yogis really wanted from an event of this kind.  The success of the first festival was amazing and that provided us with a big boost to our drive and determination to make the second bigger, better and more beneficial for those attending.  We are so excited about what’s on offer this August and feel positive that Soul Circus is just going to grow and grow.”

The weekend will offer a rich programme filled with a variety of yoga and wellness classes led by some of the best yoga teachers out there. Those festival revellers wanting to engage in other than yoga, there will be plenty of other choices, such as Spin, Pilates, HIIT and Dance to name but few.

Expect motivational speakers and coaching, including some of UK’s most well-known love coaches, Persia Lawson, and Nige and Elloa Atkinson; mindfulness and meditation workshops headlined by Will Young, the much loved signer and actor, and Warrior Wear will focus on mental health in particular.

For those wanting to completely unwind, there will be massages and alternative treatments on offer, as well as saunas and hot tubs, and to give the weekend a real festival feeling, there’ll be music throughout the day and night, with buskers, Kirtan, music bands and DJs performing throughout the weekend. There’s even an after-party in the woods planned for closing night.

Prices for Soul Circus start at £199 for a weekend ticket, £399 for a VIP Weekend ticket, £69 for a Friday day ticket and £99 for a Saturday day ticket.  Group tickets and tickets for teens are also available. Belle About Town will be camping on site the whole weekend, let us know if we will be seeing you there!
