A Sensational Sensory Hit at Bubble Planet

Bubble Planet Wembley

From a swimming pool sized ball pool to a VR journey through a bubble world, Bubble Planet is like no other sensory experience.

Journey through 11 experience rooms centred around bubbles in this one-of-a-kind immersive exhibition. Just be warned, you won’t want to leave!

We went on a dreary day at the start of June. Schools were back but with my baby Belles on an inset day we took advantage of more booking options – be warned, if you want to visit at a weekend or during school holidays this attraction sells out out fast.

We arrived just before midday and expected to spend around an hour looking at pictures of bubbles. We left two and a half hours later full of wows and wonder, and to be honest could have stayed another hour if tiny tummies hadn’t been rumbling!

A Bubbling Immersive Journey

Bubble Planet is located in a warehouse in Wembley, a few minutes walk from both Wembley Park and Wembley Stadium tube and train stations. Its entrance is hidden, but inside is like stepping into another world.

First is the LED room with an interactive underwater-themed floor, where your steps create bubbles and stamps can scare aware tiny digital fish. Then next came the balloon room where we took a dip in a sea of hundreds of huge balloons. What followed was an entirely immersive and captivating journey through a bubble world, with relaxation rooms, VR cloud tours, a souvenir-worthy selfie room, an infinity corridor lit up by colour-changing bubble bulbs, and of course the main attraction – the bubble pool.

Now, we’ve enjoyed Dopamine Land and many other attractions with ball pools, but this was something else. The pool is HUGE, and it’s deep too. Thankfully we visited at a relatively quiet time and were able to enjoy our own large space in the pool which is filled with inflatables, and more ball ‘bubbles’ than you could ever count. Adults, as well as children, can sink down out of view and stay hidden under the sea of balls. It’s neon, it’s noisy, and it’s great, great fun to splash about in, whatever your age.

Immersive attractions are popping up across the country, from music by candlelight to artist encounters, and quirky exhibitions, but none have kept us occupied for so long and provided such a whopping sensory hit as Bubble Planet.

Booking are open for the summer months and we can’t recommend saving yourself a spot highly enough, it’s well worth the trip out west.
