    Yvonne moved her family from London to the Caribbean island of Barbados in 2013 in pursuit of a better life and has not looked back since (except when in desperate need of a bit of culture and a decent bookshop).
    A journalist for more than a decade, Yvonne has written for a range of national titles, and now also writes her own blog www.threekindsofsunshine.com about life on a tropical island with three children.
    When she's not busy writing and looking after her family, Yvonne can usually be found hanging out at her local beach bar, drinking rum cocktails, and sunbathing onboard one of her friend's luxury catamarans. Yes it's tough, but someone's got to do it...
