Ever since Carrie lusted after a pair of Manolo Blahnik’s in TV series Sex And The City, these unique shoes have been on the wish list of fashionable women from Manhattan to London. The lines and silhouettes of his distinctive designs are instantly recognisable to footwear addicts who crave the exquisite workmanship and luxury.

Along with Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik is one of the most influential footwear designers around today. Monolo been designing shoes for over 30 years with the first store he bought in Old Church St in Chelsea, still his flagship store today.

But guess what girls, get your credit card ready as Manolo is launching an exclusive new range at Liberty this week! These are exclusive shoes in Liberty fabrics from the 60’s that Manolo personally selected from the archives reflecting his current love of geometric prints as well as the highlights of the A/W10 collection.

This special collection of world-renowned shoe designs will be will be available from a bespoke ‘World of Manolo’ area at Liberty – the first time they have ever been sold outside of his flagship store in the UK.

Manolo has also created an instantly covetable collection of limited edition products. These include ‘bouton de rose’ a scented candle with a heart of French violet and Turkish rose developed alongside English perfumer Lyn Harris, bow ties, stationery, canopy umbrellas with Manolo’s Liberty fabrics printed on the inside, notebooks, shoe horns, cushions, and of course, scarves. All of which are brimming with the distinct Manolo design handwriting of exuberant brilliance and attention to perfection.

Launching tonight at 6pm at the store, you will get a chance to meet the man behind the label as he comes to open the new concession with friend, model Yasmin Le Bon. Manolo will be at Liberty till 8pm to meet customers and sign shoes and the items from his limited edition Liberty collection, so expect a crowd!
