Fashion Targets Breast Cancer

Fashion Targets… was set up in 1994 by Ralph Lauren who lost his close friend to the disease. He called upon the fashion industry to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer charities across the globe.
Launched in the UK in 1996 by Breakthrough Breast Cancer, FTBC now celebrates its 15th year and has been heralded as the most fashionable Charity campaign in the UK. With the iconic t-shirt gracing most women’s wardrobes.
The campaign is fortunate enough to have received support of some of the world’s most famous fashion industry icons including photographers such as Mario Testino, David Bailey and Ellen Von Unwerth. Models & famous faces including Kylie Minogue, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Twiggy have all very generously supported the campaign.
To date the campaign has raised over £11.5m in the UK alone through the sale of the famous target t-shirts and other merchandise which our loyal and High Street retailer favourites have been selling for us.
The stars this year helping to raise awareness and help towards finding the cure for breast cancer are designer Sadie Frost, actress Karen Gillan and presenter Cat Deeley.
‘Fashion is making a difference, and so can you,’ says So You Think You Can Dance presenter Cat Deeley. ‘Wear your support for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer and show you care.’
