Equally impressive was the wild mushrooms on toast, a mix of shitake, chestnut and chantarelle mushrooms on wholemeal toast topped with cream cheese, spinach and toasted pinenuts.
The smashed avocado, a dish often underwhelming elsewhere, also looked fabulous. Every plate that emerged from the kitchen looked equally appealing, a vibrant tapestry of colours and textures that hinted at the deliciousness within.
Complementing the food is an equally impressive selection of bottomless drinks, guranteed to keep the good times flowing. Choose from a crisp and refreshing Prosecco, the frozen margarita – mixed to perfection and striking that elusive balance of being wonderfully sour without being overpowering – and for a touch of tropical flair, a fruity mojito bursting with fresh mint and zesty lime. Various alcohol-free options are also available, including several mocktails. The drinks flowed freely, with our attentive server, the delightful Carmelo, ensuring our glasses were never empty.

Their diverse repertoire is designed to get punters up and dancing, and it works. The dance floor, or rather, the impromptu dance spaces between tables, quickly fill, creating an exhilarating vibe. It’s impossible not to feel your spirits lift and your feet tap along.
And then there’s the service – truly second to none. From the moment we arrived every member of staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to ensure we had the best possible time. A special hat-tip goes to Carmelo. He was an absolute gem and a shining example of hospitality at its finest. He couldn’t do enough for us, anticipating our needs, offering recommendations with a warm smile, and ensuring our drinks were topped up without us ever having to ask. His genuine enthusiasm and impeccable service added an extra layer of enjoyment to an already fabulous afternoon.
