Glamour And Glitz With A Bit Of Kitsch!

There is not enough old-fashioned glamour about in entertainment at the moment. While we love seeing the latest bands and going to festivals as much as the next person, there is something to be said for that sophisticated feel of the lounge clubs of the 40s and 50s. Women attired in stunning dresses reclining at tables and supping cocktails while impeccably turned-out men catch up on manly matters, both watching a big band belt out Rat Pack tunes.

Steeped in history and soaked in champagne Kitsch Lounge Riot (KLR) provides the perfect combination of cabaret, finesse with a little bit of riotous rock ‘n’ roll to finish the night on. Returning to the magnificent Cafe De Paris this Thursday 10th November and again on the 20th December, descend the sweeping staircases and been enveloped in a suave underground scene of cosmopolitan people enjoying music from a melting pot of emerging musical talent alongside established industry faces and stars from the world of Sport, film and entertainment.

This Thursday 10th November, invading the KLR stage to entertain us is modern day crooner Oliver Darley, West End star and actor Darren Day, the voice of Strictly Come Dancing Hayley Sanderson, Mobo nominee Natalie Williams, dashing Britain’s Got Talent finalist Shaun Smith, broadcaster and punk rebel Loyd Grossman (yes the man with the pasta sauces!!) joined by Valentine Guinness, KLR rocker Damien Flood and emerging talent The Franks while DJ Jamie Starr spins the decks between sets.

So if you want to watch the boys who watch the girls go by, let the KLR entertain you in intimate sophisticated surrounds where you can dress up and let your hair down.
