With December now well underway, it is definitely the season to be jolly. London is always full of magic at this time of year, so if you fancy getting out and about and into the spirits of all things Christmas then do try out the Montague Ski Lodge. The hotel itself, The Montague on the Gardens, is a luxury four-star hotel in Bloomsbury, overlooking a secluded private garden square. The ski lodge itself is hidden away behind the hotel and includes falling snow, pine trees, snowmen, reindeers and lots and lots of seasonal twinkling lights. The smiley and helpful staff can be seen wandering around in their seasonal Christmas jumpers, making the whole experience feel that little bit more authentic.
Drinks wise you can expect to enjoy classic ski tipples such as Jagermeister, Schnapps (in Apple, Pear and Watermelon flavours) and vodkas (available in sherry trifle, mandarin, candy cane and toffee flavours.) Also on the menu are delicious mulled wines and spiced ciders.
The food available is a comforting selection of bratwurst hot dogs, deep fried camembert and seasonal turkey burgers. The Ski pass is available for £25, and included in this price are a few nibbles and three festive drinks of your choice.
Visitors can also enter the Montague Ski Lodge competition for a chance to taste real ski life. The competition challenges you to take a Ski style selfie for a chance to win a long weekend on the snowy slopes of Switzerland. The prize will include flights, a stay at the Hotel D’Angleterre for three nights, and a day’s ski hire and lift pass.
