Go! Organic At Battersea Park This Weekend
Anyone else finding themselves clinging to the final days of summer? As the last Bank Holiday of the year passed, we stood defiantly in our shorts, refusing to accept the end. Thankfully, there’s another weekend of festival fun that’s on our radar – the Go! Organic Festival happening this weekend in London’s Battersea Park.
Running over two days (September 8-9th), the celebration will showcase food, beauty, health and eco-living products and, like any festival worth donning the wellies and sunnies for, Go! Organic has music, tasty treats and plenty of (organic) beer.
Taking the main stage will be performances from Noughties favourrites The Hoosiers and The Magic Numbers, and there will be plenty of food demos, hosted by well-known names including Theo Randall, Melissa Hemsley and Rosie Birkett. For those wanting to relax and soak up the sun as it promises to shine on us just a little longer, head over to the Abel and Cole Picnic Area or experience the Clearspring Japanese Tea Garden which promises to be an oasis of calm in the centre of the excitement.
The Go! Organic festival is a festival for all ages and to keep the kiddies content top BBC children’s television presenter Andy Day will be appearing with his band Andy and the Odd Socks, as well as Mr Bloom and his band.
There’s also a free fun fair, circus entertainers a bug hunt and petting zoo.
Thinking about heading down? An adult ticket retails at £26 but you can make the most of their 2-4-1 offer and use code GO241 at the checkout.
Tickets can be bought here: www.goorganicfestival.co.uk.
