Bluebird’s Tiny Tea

Billed as an afternoon tea, but for kids, this treat is incredibly good value at one of west London’s chicest all day venues.

Having indulged in a champagne afternoon tea at Bluebird a fair few times, we decided to return with some small people to test this offer out. Any excuse, eh?

The tea includes a good selection of sandwiches, mini fruit scones and jam, and a pièce de résistance of a top tier opportunity to decorate your own cupcake. Guess whch the little eyes zoomed in on first?

Big smiles for the Tiny Tea

While grown ups enjoy a traditional selection with a few Bluebird twists – avocado sandwiches and the truffled egg were particular favourites – kids also get Nutella stuffed doughnuts and sprinkle-covered mini strawberry milkshakes.

Tiny Tea costs £12 per child and is suitable for kids aged 3-10. Colouring and crayons are handed out too, meaning they have plenty to keep them distracted and occupied for a good hour or more while parents sit back and relax in the stylish, Bluebird surroundings. A most welcome break during an otherwise chaotic school holidays!
