It’s official, we’re working harder and longer than ever before. New research this month shows that nearly half of us regularly work four or more hours of overtime a week, with nearly a third putting in seven or more extra hours. For more than half of those who worked overtime, the extra hours were unpaid. A fifth of respondents took less than 30 minutes for lunch and 12 per cent did not have a lunch break at all.

So with even less me time than ever before, we’ve scoured the country for the modern-day superheroes bringing you all of life’s modern day essentials at your desk, just make sure to get some fresh air once in a while!

This month’s contraception

Luckily the clever people at LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor allow women to order a repeat pill prescription online and collect it the same day from a choice of nearly 1,600 LloydsPharmacy stores or have it delivered to their home or office via Royal Mail special delivery.
