For any bride to be – myself included – planning a wedding is a very daunting (and very expensive) prospect.
But thankfully help is on hand with the National Wedding Show, which will visit London, Manchester and Birmingham over the next few months. And with over 300 brands exhibiting, it means everything you could possible want for your special day is all under one roof.
It certainly takes the pressure off knowing you can get more inspiration in a single afternoon than you could spending hours trawling thousands of Pinterest boards. Plus you can take your mother-in-law, family and bridesmaids along with you and make an event of it – especially with a visit to The Champagne Bar. Other must visit features include The Catwalk, where you can see models strut their stuff in stunning gowns, from the likes of David’s Bridal, and they will be showcased alongside the latest bridal hair and make-up looks.
The Inspiration Lab offers a range of workshops – ranging from calligraphy to flower crown making – which will not only enable you to create something unique and personal but it will also help those on smaller budgets save some pennies. While The Money Matters Theatre offers budgeting and financial advice and the Hitched.co.uk Wedding Planning Platform will feature a panel of planning experts to answer a range of questions from artisan cake companies to photographers.
One key exhibitor I personally recommend visiting is The Little Card Shop. Run by Danielle Leach and her grandad Craig in their little workshop in Lancashire they offer the most stunning wooden designs from wedding signs to table plans. With prices starting from just £5, they will suit any budget and are all finished with beautiful calligraphy. While artisan bakers Caffe Converto offers a tasty range of Instagram worthy cakes, from a multi-coloured macaroon tower to a chocolate sponge creation. And in terms of entertainment on your big day, you will be well worth stopping by Doris Loves, who offer a range of light-up letters, neon signs and even a temporary tattoo station. And magician Nicholas Clement has been hired to perform at a host of A-list parties, including Simon Cowell’s 50th birthday and The Star Wars wrap party.
Belle About Town is giving away a pair of VIP tickets for this Friday (16th February) at Olympia London. The tickets are worth £35 each and the prize includes a goody bag, glass of fizz, Confetti magazine and a reserved seat at the catwalk. • Natalie Edwards

Natalie has spent a decade running around town after celebrities for some of the UK's biggest newspapers and magazines. She currently works as a Senior Showbiz Reporter at The Sun on Sunday and her job has led to a host of bizarre experiences. From dancing on stage with Nile Rogers at Hyde Park, to Kim Kardashian organising to take a picture of her with Kanye West to Lindsay Lohan offering a selfie masterclass - it's never been an average day job. Outside of celebland, Natalie enjoys travelling the globe to far flung destinations meeting the locals, exploring the local nature and trying new delicacies. She has cycled from Vietnam to Cambodia, trekked the Himalayas and Andean mountains and cartwheeled along the Great Wall of China. She also has two Guinness World Records to her name. Natalie has called London her home for her whole life but never tires of trying out all the new restaurants, bars, theatre productions and walking tours that the incredible city has to offer (unless she's already sunning herself on a tropical beach).
