Spring Summer Couture Fashion Week

SS14 CoutureLast week saw designers showcase their Spring Summer 2014 couture collections on the runways in Paris. While the creative genius of John Galliano’s opulent and feminine ball gowns is still missing at Couture week (He has said “I am able to create. I am ready to create…[and] I hope through my atonement I’ll be given a second chance.”) The likes of Elie Saab, Raf Simons for Dior, Valentino and Jean Paul Gaultier provided an etherial and botanical feast for the eyes.

With the film award season well and truly underway, you can expect to see a few of these gowns on the red carpet in coming months. Here are our pics of the best:
