Shoes Are Boring, Wear Sneakers!

Converse_2Spring has sprung and it has added a spring to our step. Instead of trudging along the streets of London, we are happily jumping puddles and skipping along after work to meet friends for an after work drinks. Throwing off the stilettos which are pinching the toes and making the balls of our feet throb, it is time to shift into a more comfortable mode and don a pair of Converse. After all Shoes are boring. Wear sneakers!

After the working week of tailored suits, pencil skirts and heels it is nice to let our hair down and express ourselves differently from our corporate persona’s. And there really is a type of Converse for every outfit or mood that you’re in.

From high top to low cut, they come in a plethora of colours and designs. Heading out for a spot of badminton in the park or a game of tennis? Simply pull on the classic white Converse. For the fashion conscious, try their fringed sneakers. And if you think you will have to put them away when the weather cools down, well now you can get cosy sheepskin-lined Converse.

As well as the original designs from Badminton champ Jack Purcell, adding to the urban appeal are the more recent designs from NBA basketball champion Chuck Taylor. And if all that choice is not enough, you can always design your own so they not only match your outfit but are a one-off!

Fun, friendly and relaxed, Converse sneakers are part of an urban Belle’s weekend wardrobe taking you from morning coffee and papers with your Beau to a picnic in the park with your friends and then onto the hottest bars in Shoreditch in the evening.

If they’re good enough for Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley and Naomi Watts, then they are good enough for us!
