Showbiz Roundup: Shhh, did you hear?

Love Is A Rollercoaster

Ronan Keating has obliterated his family man image after he allegedly confessed to an affair with a backing dancer to his wife Yvonne. Ronan announced on Thursday that he and wife Yvonne, 36, have separated after 12 years of marriage. The couple – who have three children, Jack, 11, Marie, 9, and four-year-old Ali – shocked fans this week when a statement appeared on the 33-year-old Boyzone star’s website, saying: “With great sadness Ronan and Yvonne Keating today announce their separation. The separation is amicable and they will continue to work together in order to provide the best for their children.” The news comes after Ronan revealed he will be heading to Australia to appear as a judge on Australian Idol, the auditions for which begin in June. Looks like there’ll be no Long Goodbyes then.

It’s A Baby Boom!

Following on from bump-tastic stars Rachel Stevens, Isla Fisher and, if the rumours are true, Gwen Stefani, John Travolta’s actress wife Kelly Preston is expecting their third child at the age of 47. The news is a welcome joy for the couple, who have suffered their fair share of tragedy of late. In January last year, their autistic son Jett, 16, died when he suffered a fatal seizure and just last week, two of the family’s pet dogs were killed in an accident when a truck inadvertently ran over them at an airport. A beaming John, 56, said on his website: “It’s impossible to keep a secret, especially one as wonderful as this… we are expecting a new addition to our family.” The Scientology couple, who have been married for 19 years and have a 10-year-old daughter Ella Bleu, wouldn’t comment on whether Kelly had IVF, however an insider says: “It’s a miracle – they’ve been trying for over three years.”

Is Mouthy Megan On The Way Out?

Transformers beauty Megan Fox has reportedly been axed from the third instalment of the mega-hit movie franchise. Despite Megan insisting it was her decision to leave, whispers persist in Tinseltown that her recent comments comparing the films’ director Michael Bay to Hitler haven’t gone down too well. A studio insider says: “It wasn’t just the Hitler comment, she also claimed the role was far from challenging and her one big chance at headlining a movie in Jennifer’s Body was a box office disaster. The studio are worried women just don’t like her.” Hot contenders rumoured to take on the role as Shia Lebouf’s new love interest in Transformers 3 is our very own Gemma Arterton, who’s fast becoming Hollywood’s hottest leading lady. But, for a laugh, we must share with you surgically enhanced Hills star Heidi Montag’s recent Tweet: “Michael Bay I love your work! I know what a [sic] artistic brilliant genius you are! Cast me in the next Transformers.”

Everyone Wants A Pizza Brad

Heart-throb Brad Pitt sure knows how to handle his dough. The 47-year-old father of six, and squeeze of the saintly Angelina Jolie, is currently enjoying his annual two-month hiatus (nice for some, eh?) at his £50 million chateau in the south of France with Maddox, Pax and a select group of mates. Deciding they  had a late-night craving for pizza, it wasn’t Domino’s Brad dialled – instead he hired an entire pizza van, equipped with a wood-fired oven and chefs! “It’s a mobile husband and wife pizza operation,” says a source. “They were such a hit with the lads, he tipped them €2,000 (£1,700)!” We’re in the wrong job, people.

Courtney Love outs Kate Moss

She’s the Marmite of rock and famous for her bizarre ramblings on Twitter, but we’re not sure what to make of Courtney Love’s latest claim. After recently revealing she had bedded Gavin Rossdale when he was courting Gwen Stefani, the 45-year-old singer has now confessed to having a lesbian fling with Kate Moss back in the 90s. In a sensational new interview with Irish magazine Hot Press, Courtney blabs: “It’s a great story for the grandchildren so, yeah. Kate wasn’t doing a lot of drugs. It was just a thing that happened in Milan and it was fun and whatever. She talks about it, so I hope she doesn’t get mad that I outed her.” We hope so too, Courtney!
