When Reese Witherspoon started dating her agent last year, many thought that it would just be a rebound relationship after her split from Jake Gyllenhaal however it seems that this one is set to be longer term. The couple, who are expecting their first child in March, jetted off to the Maldives to celebrate and are set to marry by the end of the year. James proposed on Christmas day after first asking permission from Julia’s father. ‘He had a ring specially cut – a gorgeous diamond baguette – and put it in a box at the bottom of her stocking, right next to the satsuma and chocolate coins,’ a source told The Mirror.
A relationship doesn’t get much more complicated than that of Shania Twain and Frederic Thiebaud. The pair became close after Shania’s husband Robert ‘Mutt’ Lang ran off with her best friend, Frederic’s wife. They leant on each other for and last month Shania revealed that Frederic had asked her to marry him. Rather than waiting around, Shania and Frederic have already tied the knot in a sunset ceremony in Puerto Rico on New Year’s day.
It is just as well that Amanda Holden hasn’t had a lot of TV work recently otherwise keen eyes may have noticed that the actress and presenter was looking a little thicker around the middle. She made the shock announcement at the weekend that she was six months pregnant with her second child. The Britain’s Got Talent judge revealed that she and husband Chris Hughes are expecting a baby boy. The couple already have a four-year-old daughter Lexi.
