Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer Awareness MonthOctober marks the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and with 55,000 people being diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, every year, the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes, many people will be personally affected or know someone who has faced this terrifying diagnosis.

A number of celebrities have also openly battled and beaten breast cancer including Kylie Minogue, Sheryl Crow and Christina Applegate as well as Angelina Jolie taking evasive action by having her breasts removed on discovering that she carried the faulty gene.

There is something we can all do to help raise awareness and fund research into treatment. As part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign, you can buy some gorgeous ‘pink’ items and help out at the same time. Belle’s don’t need any more of an excuse!
