Kate Moss And The Best Celebrity Fashion Collections

Kate Moss’s Autumn/Winter 10 collection for TopShop hits stores tomorrow but sadly it is her last range for the High Street store. After four years and 14 collections, the model is hanging up her dressmaking scissors for the time being and concentrating on modelling again.

“When we started the project we didn’t have an end in mind but I’m really proud of all 14 collections,” Kate said. “I’ve learned a lot about the design and development process; experiences that I’d only ever seen informally through being a model.”

The 36-year-old model’s final collection will once again be based on her own wardrobe which is characterised by rock chick/boho pieces that have resulted in women queuing outside TopShop’s flagship store in Oxford Street to get their hands on one of her outfits. And tomorrow’s collection will probably have a similar effect.

But Kate Moss is not the only celebrity to have shown that as far as fashion design goes, they can cut it in that world too. Many where dubious when Victoria Beckham first entered the world of fashion with style writers deriding her initially efforts with her denim range. However she has proven the critics wrong and even the most fearsome fashionistas now praise her dresses.

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has also now launched her own range, Project D, with friend Tabitha Somerset Webb. Again the collection has been well received and Dannii has worn some of her own designs on X Factor helping her win the style battle with Cheryl Cole.

Other fashion forward celebs, such as Pearl Lowe, Fearne Cotton and Pixie Lott have made celebrity fashion collections affordable by teaming up with Peacocks, Very and Lipsy to give women the opportunity to adopt their style.

Here we look at the latest A/W10 ranges from all these stars.
