Doubletree by Hilton has partnered with the Luna Cinema to offer movie goers the ultimate cinema upgrade, experiencing your favourite movies from the comfort of the Double Tree by Hilton Suite.
Luna cinema is an outdoor cinema that has become something of a phenomenon in recent years. The first screening happened in Dulwich in 2008, and it was so popular that Luna has gone on to become one of the most popular outdoor cinema experiences in the UK.
Double Tree by Hilton have taken the Luna Cinema experience to the next level. As well as a full sized bed with beautifully soft linen, the custom designed weather proof suite will also include a private mini bar stocked with beer, champagne, and snacks, as well as mood lighting to perfect the outdoor cinema experience.
We went along with some girlfriends, some popcorn and a bottle of fizz. It was a perfect evening and a particularly special way to while away a summer evening under the stars. The Luna Cinema settings also tend to be in grand historical venues, so there’s always a gorgeous view to go alongside your fizz and popcorn.
All guests will experience DoubleTree by Hilton’s exceptional hospitality, starting with the presentation of a warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival. Premium ticket holders will also be treated to added extras, including directors chairs, a free drink and a ‘little things’ kit, to make sure film buffs are all set for their outdoor extravaganza.
Locations for the screenings vary happen across the UK and include a mix of cult films and absolute classics such as Dirty Dancing, Some Like it Hot, Grease, Groundhog Day and The Big Lebowski.
The event also comes with a gorgeous boutique pop up eatery in the form of Gastrocircus, a delicious dining experience which includes a three course pop up pre film menu, and pizza and barbecue options.
