Complimentary Cabaret At Live At Ze?del

Zedel-Brasserie-highres (8) (3000x2000)

London can be a fabulous city to spend summers in. Never mind the lack of sunshine and the unpredictability of the weather, we Londoners like to make the most of what we are given. We make beaches (sans the sea), sand decks and as many pop up bars as our roofs can handle. And most of these outings don’t have to cost a penny.

Summer might slowly be coming to an end, but don’t despair – there will be plenty on offer in the upcoming months.

This September, head down to Brasserie Ze?del in London’s Piccadilly, and join fellow fun loving folk in two days worth of free entertainment set in one of London’s most iconic buildings.

Taking place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th of September and occupying the entire venue, the weekend event will be filled with music, cabaret, theatre and comedy – all complimentary, to celebrate the launch of ‘Live At Ze?del’, London’s brand new entertainment evening series. Both days will offer a sneak peek into the upcoming shows from the new autumn programme and showcase performances from some of its biggest stars.

The event, hosted by Jay Rayner – the food critic, writer and Masterchef judge, will kick off on Saturday and will see musicians and bands perform from 7pm onwards, including resident names such as Cath Tyldesley and Anne Reid amongst many others. A live jazz band will be entertaining audiences in the foyer and the Brasserie from 5pm.

If belly laughs tickle your fancy, then Sunday will make the perfect choice. The evening promises tons of fun, silliness and laughter, with shows from some of UK’s most inspiring theatre companies, such as ‘Etch Theatre’ and ‘Play Theatre’. The set will be followed by a performance from headliner ‘DENIM’ – ‘Live At Ze?del’s resident drag girl group at 9.30pm.

The future repertoire will see many exciting and diverse performers take to the stage, such as Grayson Perry, the Philharmonia Orchestra and Grace Dent, as well as numerous rising new acts.
