The 15 Minute Blow Dry

Pierre DoumitIt’s amazing what a good blow dry can do. Not only do you look fabulous but it also makes you feel great as well. A blow dry is one of those things, like polished nails and well applied make-up that makes you look polished and ready for any situation. But who has time for a regular blow dry…

Well you can now with Leticia Haute Coiffure in  Chiltern Street, Marylebone. Creative Director Pierre Doumit is a wonder with the hot barrel brushes and hair dryer and can have you looking fabulous in 15 minutes flat!

Including having my hair washed, a treat in itself, I was in and out of the salon within 30 minutes – which means you can go in your lunch break and still have time to pick up lunch!

It is also a very relaxing experience. Not only do you have the joys of someone else pampering you, running their fingers through your hair and massaging your scalp but if you’re a dog lover, their gorgeous Cavalier King Charles spaniel Jack will happily sit with you and let you stroke him no matter where you are. I was joined in the waiting area and again at the sink where I had this lovely ball of fluff on my lap while my hair was being washed.

Once at the chair, Pierre checks exactly what you want and then he is away with two barrel brushes, a dryer, and an assistant on hand to have you dried and coiffured in a matter of minutes. And it was as good as any of the top blow dries I have had and much better than a lot of average blow dries that have taken at least twice as long to finish.

Off I went into the afternoon looking like, well like I’d just stepped out of a salon… And four days later? It still looks swishable, sexy and bouncy – what more can a belle ask for!

Leticia Haute Coiffure, 59/61 Chiltern Street, Marylebone, London, W1U 6NG. Blowdry with Pierre from £40.
