Sadly, it is time to retire the Pimm’s for another year, but one thing that you can enjoy as the cold weather blows in is a good red wine by a roaring fire. Bordeaux in France is known for its extensive full-bodied reds, but there is a lot more to the region than just the heavy and often pricey bottles of red that we are used to.

Album Review: The Awakening by James Morrison

Ah, James Morrison; he might only be in his mid-20s but he has the voice of wise, old soul legend and the same cosy, cuddle-up-in-front-of-the-fire-with-a-beloved (or beloved glass of wine)-quality songs. He doesn’t exactly tear up the rule book here: big, heartfelt ballads dominate, as with the gorgeous In My Dreams, and the Jessie J-featuring Up, on which the Essex lass thankfully refrains from bawling at the top of her lungs.

Kids Get Busy At Izzy Jones

It has been a long summer for most parents, particularly as the weather wasn’t the best for keeping kids entertained.
